Work pass holders in Singapore (EntrePass, Employment Pass, S pass or PEP earning a minimum of SGD 5,000 a month) can get their spouses and unmarried children (aged less than 21 years, which includes legally adopted children too) apply for a Dependant’s Pass. In case a baby is born to an Employment Pass holder, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) should be notified of the same by the parent with a letter issued by the hospital to get the baby a short term visit pass that remains valid for 42 days. Though an Employment Pass holder’s fiancée isn’t eligible for a Dependant’s Pass, s/he can usually apply for a Long-Term Social Visit Pass (LTSVP) though it’s subject to some particular conditions. For living with a family member or partner for over 6 months who’s staying in the UK permanently, you should get a ‘family of a settled person’ visa in case you are from outside the EEA (European Economic Area) or Switzerland.
